REKA Interiors Exhibition – RiX
14m Giant Illuminated Cloud Installation for “Design Supercharged” Central Stage
Wonder Balloons developed the structural framework and installed a 14-meter illuminated balloon cloud centrepiece with dynamic flickering lighting effects for the central stage at REKA Interiors Exhibition (RiX).
Project Background
RiX (REKA Interiors Exhibition) is a premier interior design exhibition curated by leading designers in Malaysia as a flagship highlight of the annual REKA Design Week.
The Challenge
REKA is known for its breathtaking design and innovation displays. The designers at REKA wanted a signature overhead installation to embody their central theme, “Design Supercharged”, above the exhibition's central stage.
Wonder Balloons Execution
After detailed consultations with the curatorial team, our balloon artists developed a custom structural framework and installed a giant 14m organic balloon cloud masterpiece in a matter of hours. Integrated flickering lighting effects running through the cloud sculpture delivered the unmistakable “Supercharged” atmosphere across the hall.
The Result
The 14m illuminated balloon cloud was installed within hours and served as the focal stage centrepiece throughout REKA Design Week.
